Tweedside makes a handy base for getting outdoors. Whether you're here to ride, walk or fish, you can be out on the trail or down by the water within minutes, and back in good time for a pint at the Tow-Bar.

Mountain biking

You're right in the middle of some of the finest riding in the country. The trail centres at Glentress and Innerleithen, both part of the 7stanes network, cover everything from gentle forest loops to serious downhill, so there's something to suit whatever you're on and however you ride. Bring the bikes, ride till you're done, and top the e-bikes back up at base with our charging points.

Walking and fishing on the Tweed

The Tweed is one of Scotland's great rivers, well known for its salmon and trout, and the valley around it is proper walking country. Follow the riverside paths straight from the park, head up into the surrounding hills, or bring a rod and make a day of it by the water.
